April 2020 – Virtual Trading Stall - Plants & Seeds
During the COVID-19 lockdown the Sarratt Horti has a Virtual Trading Stall to offer and request plants and seeds.
The Sarratt Horti has traditionally had a trading stall at its Spring Show and in the months following at the Sunday Market. However, in these difficult times it is not possible to do this.
We have had a number of requests from members and villagers for any spare plants and seeds - vegetable or flowers, since the garden centres are closed and most online operations are now not taking orders.
Hence, we are going to try a "virtual trading stall". If you have any spare plants or seeds over the next month or so or you would like some, then please email the Society Secretary - Sandra Turner on firstname.lastname@example.org to let her know and she will try and make sure we can help.
Any monies raised from the purchase will go to the Sarratt organisations helping out at this time. ( SPC, SCCF, Sarratt Care & Sarratt Community Post Office Store).
On another note - the visit to Hyde Hall on 11th June is very unlikely to go ahead but we will keep you informed.
We hope you are all well, with gardening one of the best forms of keeping fit and self isolating.
March 2020 – Unfortunately the Spring Show on April 4th is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
February 2020 – Bovingdon Horticultural Society is offering Sarratt Horti members the chance to buy compost in bulk at reduced rates – contact the Society for more information
