About Us

On the 17th October 1888, the first Flower & Fruit Show was held in a crowded Mission Hall in Sarratt. The fascinating account of this historic village event can be read in full as recorded in our wonderful Sarratt Scrapbooks which are usually on display at our Shows, and also online.

In 1925, we became affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society and it is true indeed to affirm that from one small acorn back in 1888, an Oak Tree has grown. The Society continues to serve the parish of Sarratt with Spring & Autumn Shows, talks & outings and providing news, offers and guidance to our members.
