Outings

Over the past years the Horticultural Society has organised very well attended trips to some amazing gardens that only our President, Margaret Stratford could have discovered.  But recently the cost of these trips has escalated.  However we are able to have one visit a year to an RHS Garden of our choice for free because we are an affiliated RHS Society.  This keeps the cost down as we are only paying for the coach and not the entrance fee.  

In 2019 we went to RHS Wisley, although it rained a lot on our journey, it did stop while we were there.  Everyone who went enjoyed it immensely.  

In 2020 we were booked to go to RHS Hyde Hall, Essex, in June, but this was cancelled due to Coronavirus social distancing restrictions, etc. 

We are always open to any suggestion for trips or talks.

We often have a speaker at our Annual General Meeting.
